Aras BnB is a homely, family-run, B&B located in the village of Glencolmcille, in West Donegal, Ireland
We are located along the famous ‘Wild Atlantic Way’. Our home is the perfect place to stay while you explore the raw beauty of Ireland as it used to be. Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, a family, or a group, we have accommodation to suit your needs.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, a bit of walking and hiking through gorgeous wilderness, cycling our coastal roads, or a simple disconnect from busy city life, Aras BnB in the town of Glencolmcille, Donegal, have you looked after.
Our rooms are all private, with a large selection of rooms with en-suite facilities. You’re probably coming here to escape these things, but most of our rooms offer TV—just in case. Some of them purposefully don’t, giving you the choice. Check the room specs when you book. For those who still need ties to the outside world, Aras BnB offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building. We offer rooms for all needs: single, double, twin, triple, or family rooms of various sizes are available. We are happy to pick you up from the nearest bus stop in Cashel (in Glencolmcille). If you’re looking to explore some of the local pubs and restaurants, we have a taxi service available to get you to wherever it is you’re looking to get to.
The entire Aras BnB building has free Wi-Fi connected via super fast fibre-optic throughout. Stay in touch, or disconnect. The choice is yours.

We will happily help you get here. Just get the bus to Cashel in Glencolumbkille and we can pick you up. Please let us know a day before, if possible. We can drop you there when you need to leave too. ( shuttle times are displayed in reception, just ring the bell ).
Need some help making the most of your stay with Aras BnB? We know the area and will provide you with guides on local attractions, as well as the best routes to take to get there. We want you to get the most from your stay.
To help you out, we keep some frozen meals in stock for those nights where you perhaps don't want to cook, or don't feel like going out. We keep a selection of pizzas, lasagne and other meals for your convenience.
There's a lot of country out here. Getting around without a car can be a little tricky. We offer a bicycle rental service for €15 per bike for a full day. That'll get you to the local beaches, local town, and nearby lakes.
Need an accessible room? We have 4 ground floor rooms with easy wheelchair access. One of these rooms also has a large, wheelchair accessible shower. Call ahead to make sure we can reserve this room. The kitchen and dining areas are also wheelchair accessible.
When you arrive at Aras BnB, you will be welcomed by Leon. He will give you some great advice on the local area, helping you to make the most of your time with us.
Gill keeps things flowing, managing our cleaning staff and overseeing breakfasts. Ensuring that guests have a lovely clean room and making sure everything runs seamlessly.
Chris helps with our strategy and making sure we continually move forward to deliver the best experience for guests. He also manages our finances; we’d view that as a short straw but he loves it.
Nick helps guests just like you discover Aras BnB. He provides us with our website, photography, and videos (Check out our youtube). He also helps with new ways to make our message stronger and improve your experience.
Arguably the most important role in our business, Minky has the duty of welcoming guests with a huge amount of enthusiasm. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in charm.
